By underground, overground and Docklands light railway (DLR)

The two nearest stations on the London Underground are Mile End on Hammersmith & City, District and Central lines; and Stepney Green on the Hammersmith & City, and District lines. These are a short walk from campus.

The Overground train stops at Whitechapel, from where you can travel one further stop on either the District or Hammersmith & City line.

Bow Church DLR station is a 20 minute walk away.

By bus

In addition there are many buses which serve the campus (the 25 and 205 bus routes stop right outside).  The number 25 bus, which runs from Oxford Circus in central London to Ilford, travels along Mile End Road approximately every ten minutes throughout the day. You can ask your bus driver to tell you when you have reached the College bus stop. Look out for the College’s clock tower, as the main entrance is in the Queens ‘ Building behind the clock tower.

Directions from nearby underground stations

From Mile End station, turn left outside the station and walk along Mile End Road towards the traffic lights. At the crossing at the traffic lights, cross Burdett Road and continue walking, under the bridge and beyond, for a few minutes along Mile End Road until you arrive at another set of traffic lights.

From Stepney Green station, turn left outside the station and walk along Mile End Road for five to ten minutes.

Please check the Transport for London (TfL) website for status updates before beginning your journey. You can also use the Journey Planner on the website to plan your best route.

Transport for London publish interactive maps showing Underground, Docklands Light Railway (DLR) and bus information.
